4 tricks to bag UK Black Friday Deals any day of the year
Internet retailers are expecting a bumper Christmas, with UK Black Friday shoppers predicted to spend more than 12bn online, during November and December alone, according to one internet retail organisation, (The Interactive Media in Retail Group).
And this year’s boom in internet shopping means the Royal Mail is also gearing up for its busiest Christmas ever, with bosses predicting a record 200m items will be ordered online – so do allow plenty of time for delivery and look out for sites offering free postage.
Buying online is bound to save you time and money too, especially when you consider how busy the shops get at this time of year, so why not follow these simple tips to turn the tables and guarantee you play the lowest prices possible whatever you’re shopping for.
1. Compare and Save
Shop around to make sure you’re getting the best deal. While it’s true that Amazon is almost alwaysthe best place to shop, other sites like now have a UK Black Friday sale of their own, with some incredible bargains.

2. Learn a few of Amazon’s tricks
Amazon is Britain’s most popular online retailer and we know plenty of tricks for saving money when using the site, many of which are posted here at Black Friday UK. Here are some of our favourites.
• To save on postage, first check that your order qualifies for free delivery (if it doesn’t, it usually means it’s being sent by a third party) and make sure you order by the Christmas deadline of December 18.
• Do remember, Amazon UK’s free ‘super saver’ delivery takes between three and five days, but you’ll need to tick this option as long as you’re not in a hurry, because the default option is a more expensive one to two-day first class service.
• Amazon UK often has heavily-reduced bargains but they can be hard to find. Amazon’s search results can often throw up the most profitable deals first, instead of giving prominence to the cheapest items.
